What is the Run Sheet?
Public evening schedule from desk open to final file — times are targets, not guarantees. See the Run Sheet for sequence detail.
Who signs off copy?
Section editor signs first and final files; beat editors draft. Names on Who Sits Here rotate monthly.
Is content paywalled?
No paywall on this portal. We do not solicit payment for access to indexed copy or method pages.
What language do you use?

Additional policy detail appears in Terms and Legal. For postal contact, see Write to the Desk.
We do not answer reader mail through social media DMs — only through [email protected] and postal delivery during desk hours. Complex verification questions may receive a reply pointing to the Source Ladder rather than internal log excerpts.
During exam or festival weeks reply times may stretch beyond two working nights — we post a short notice here when that happens.
Abusive mail may receive no reply; lawful criticism of our method is handled normally when you include specific document references.
Privacy requests belong at [email protected] — do not send them through the general desk address unless you misaddressed the envelope.
